Booking & deposits
How do I book?
Everything goes through the booking page. Pick a slot and tell us what you have in mind. Nothing is charged there: we will email you to confirm the date and sort the deposit, and the slot is held from the point that is paid.
Can I move my appointment?
Yes, with at least 48 hours' notice - the deposit moves with you. Under 48 hours, or not turning up, means the deposit is lost and a new one is needed to rebook. That slot could have gone to somebody else, which is the whole reason for the rule.
On the day
What should I do beforehand?
Eat a proper meal, drink water, and get a normal night's sleep. Wear something comfortable that gets to the area easily, and bring snacks for anything over a couple of hours.
Do not drink the night before, and do not turn up hungover.
Can I bring someone with me?
One person is fine, and often a good idea for a long session.
Aftercare
How long does it take to heal?
The surface closes over in about two weeks, and the skin underneath settles over two to three months.

What can I say about Emily and Reece at Rock and Rose motel? They are so friendly and welcoming. Ive visited a couple of times now, and bought a few items of their apparel range. I found Emily through Instagram a few years ago, saw her work and thought — yes, that's the one. What I didn't realise at the time was that I wasn't just booking a tattoo, I was finding my tattoo artist for life. I now have 7 tattoos from Emily. SEVEN. And I love every single one of them. Been tattooed more times than I can count by Emily at Rock & Rose and I always receive such a warm welcome and great service. She designs pretty much exactly what I want and keeps them in the same style so they all look great together. She considers placing for layout and colours and everything always looks fab when it’s done. I would really recommend her trad American style tattoos. Her merch is also pretty spot on too. Had some great quality T-shirts, hoodies and caps that I wear daily. Thank you Emily!
